This policy explains how Bagan Byte handles information in the Sayin personal finance app and on this website. It covers app records, website visits and information you choose to send when contacting us.
2. Information in the app
Sayin lets you enter financial records such as income, expenses, wallets, categories, budgets, currencies, exchange rates, group member names and payable or receivable balances. These records are stored locally on your device for the app’s functions. You can use the app’s offline features without creating a cloud account.
3. Backups, exports and sharing
When you create a backup, export a file or share a summary, a copy leaves the app’s local storage for the location or service you select. Those copies may contain financial details or names. Choose recipients carefully and keep backups in a safe place. Device or cloud backup services you enable are governed by their own settings and policies.
4. App lock and device security
You can protect access using a PIN or supported device biometrics. Biometric verification is handled by your device’s operating system; Sayin does not receive your fingerprint or facial biometric templates. App lock does not protect copies you export or share. Keep your device and backup files secure.
5. Website storage and service providers
This website stores your language and theme preferences in your browser’s local storage. You can remove them by clearing site data in your browser. The website uses Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load fonts. GitHub Pages hosts the website and may process technical request information, such as an IP address, under its own privacy statement. Visiting external links, email services or app stores is subject to those providers’ policies.
6. Support communications
If you email or message us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your contact information, message and attachments. We use these to respond, investigate issues and improve support. Send only the information needed for your request; remove private financial details from screenshots. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and related follow-up.
7. Managing and deleting information
You control the records stored on your device. Deleting app data or uninstalling the app may remove local records, depending on your device. Separately saved exports, backups and copies shared with others remain until removed from those locations. Contact us about information you have sent to support or questions about access, correction or deletion. Requests are handled subject to applicable requirements.
8. Children’s privacy
Sayin is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app, website or our practices change. The date above indicates the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact support@baganbyte.com.
